WHO IS THIS EVENT DEDICATED TO?

Why the Dolomites in summer?

The Dolomites are undoubtedly one of the most magical places to enjoy this spectacle.

In a relatively small area, they offer endless photographic opportunities: from the flowers that embellish and the vegetation that creates strong contrasts, to the mountain passes from which you can enjoy breathtaking views towards the valleys, up to jewels such as the Tre Cime di Lavaredo , among the most beautiful mountains in Europe, which reveal their most magical essence with the fiery lights of the sunset .

Summer is a great time to discover the Dolomites: temperatures are pleasant and the days are quite long.

The mountain meadows are covered with a colorful carpet of flowers, while streams and lakes are filled with fresh, crystal-clear water.

Warm currents tend to form very choreographic clouds, perfect for portraying the imposing peaks of the Dolomites.

We will base ourselves in the valley, in Cortina d’Ampezzo , and then touch on the locations that are best suited to being immortalised during this season.

Staying in the valley floor will allow us to be very flexible , and adapt the choice of locations (dozens within a radius of just 20 kilometers) to the weather conditions and the group’s priorities.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions ❓

Can I participate even if I am a beginner?

Absolutely yes! Advanced skills are not strictly necessary. You will always be followed step by step by the teaching photographer, who will be at your side for the entire duration of the Workshop.

What photography equipment will I need?

You can participate in the workshop with any interchangeable lens camera , a bridge camera or even a smartphone .

What clothing will I need?

We always recommend layered clothing , with footwear suitable for short walks in the mountains. Even though we are in the summer period, temperatures could drop to 5-10 degrees, so it is useful to have a heavier layer and perhaps a waterproof shell.

Does the price include accommodation or travel?

The workshop is designed to offer maximum flexibility: everyone is free to choose their own accommodation and their own arrival and departure times , based on personal preferences. This allows you to organize yourself as you prefer and save on any extra costs.

We will still provide you with clear instructions on where to sleep, how to get around and what to bring : you will never be left alone!

Can I bring a companion with me?

Yes, it is possible to bring companions to the landscape locations, even if they do not actively participate in the Workshop.

Will there be a dedicated Whatsapp group?

Yes, a Whatsapp group will be created for all official communications in view of the event.

The group will remain open even after the Workshop, so that we can all keep in touch and receive support in the future.
