This 3-day workshop will take place on May 8-9-10, 2026 and will allow you to capture the essence of the Tuscan spring colors accompanied, guided and instructed by the professional photographer Jonathan Giovannini . During the workshop there will be a theoretical lesson on photography, a post-production lesson, two sunset sessions and one sunrise.
Spring is certainly one of the most colorful seasons and full of morning mists.
The landscapes change completely, shrouded in thick layers of fog, with green fields and incredible plays of light that make the hills even more mystical.

Questo workshop è rivolto a tutti gli appassionati di fotografia e natura. Dedicated both to those who are taking their first steps in this wonderful world and want to receive some useful advice in the field and in post-production to improve their knowledge, and to more advanced photographers , who want to spend three days in places rich in photographic possibilities, bringing home excellent shots. No particular skills are required.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:
We will use our knowledge of the territory to get the most from a photographic point of view, carefully studying every light condition and every shooting point. Theoretical lessons will allow us to apply photographic techniques with precision and timing. In this workshop:
✅ We will plan the shot in every detail: analysis of the territory, weather conditions and ideal seasonal moments
✅ We will delve into the theory of landscape photography, starting from ISO, apertures and shutter speeds up to the most advanced HDR and focus stacking techniques
✅ We will put into practice the techniques studied through targeted field demonstrations
✅ We will learn how to choose the right equipment and make the most of it based on the conditions, from wide angle to telephoto
✅ We will compare the shots taken and tackle the post-production phase, with a complete demonstration of my editing flow
✅ We will develop our creative vision and discover how to convey emotions through images

Tuscany is certainly one of the most beautiful regions from this point of view. Rich in sinuous hills with unique shapes and beautiful farmhouses that stand out on them. In the area of Val d’Orcia and Crete Senesi you can find quite varied scenarios that allow you to take beautiful photos at all focal lengths.
We will base ourselves in Val d’Orcia and then touch the locations that are best suited to be immortalized during this season. Being in a central position we could move between the various spots, spread over a 30km arc in order to take advantage of every photographable angle.
2026 Edition: MILKY WAY PHOTO SESSION
During this workshop we will have the unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in observation of the Milky Way, benefiting from a favorable period in the absence of the moon. We will evaluate the weather conditions to dedicate ourselves to the stars, possibly converting a sunrise or sunset session to obtain the maximum from a qualitative and logistical point of view.
