The Ngorongoro Crater, a unique natural amphitheater, is home to an incredibly rich ecosystem where you can see the legendary “Big Five” and rare species such as black rhinos, caracals and servals. With its spectacular geology and lush grasslands, this place is a true paradise for nature lovers and photographers. Continuing towards the Central Serengeti, the landscape is tinged with golden hues, creating the perfect backdrop for incredible encounters with predators.
Here, in the areas with the highest concentration of lions, leopards and cheetahs , you will witness breathtaking hunting scenes and observe wildlife in its most authentic environment. With our tailor-made tour and expert guides, we ensure you an unforgettable trip, full of adventure, excitement and endless wonder.
ABOUT THE TOUR:
The tour will be divided into two main phases: we will start with a night on the Ngorongoro Crater ring , ready to explore this incredible place at first light.
This will be followed by 4 nights and 5 days in the Central Serengeti , where the golden landscape and the highest concentration of predators make every day an exciting adventure. Here you will be able to observe lions, cheetahs and, with a bit of luck, other elusive felines such as leopards, caracals or servals. This period will offer you a unique experience with spectacular encounters in the savannah.
The last night will be in Arusha, a short drive from Kilimanjaro airport, allowing you to enjoy the safari experience until the last moment. You will also have the convenience of airport shuttles available, depending on your return flight.
To make the most of this tour, we will use jeeps specially equipped for photographers .
These cars have been modified by removing the windows, reducing 4 of the 6 seats and a soft cover for the entire passenger compartment. These modifications allow for an opening of about 2.5 meters on the sides, offering extraordinary freedom of movement. The absence of seats allows for comfortable photography in any situation, ensuring sufficient space for each photographer.
Each vehicle will be used by only four photographers, ensuring plenty of space to comfortably handle any photographic situation.
In the Central Serengeti we will sleep in authentic “safari tents” , tents that hide a true African style set-up. Inside you will find electricity, comfortable beds, a private bathroom and hot water, offering you the perfect mix between relaxation and authentic African adventure. On the Ngorongoro Crater instead we will sleep inside a fantastic lodge !
The tour will then end with a relaxing last night in Arusha. This final stop will give us a moment of rest and reflection after a series of dense and emotional experiences.
This strategic accommodation will also offer you the flexibility to choose from a wide range of flight options for your return, ensuring a stress-free departure and maximum convenience to conclude your trip in a relaxed manner.
DAILY PROGRAM
Day 1
- Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport by 10.00 AM, private transfer of about 3.30h to our first lodge, just above the Ngorongoro crater inside the park.
- Here we will have a relaxing afternoon to rest after the journey and prepare ourselves for the intense days to come.
Day 2
- We’ll wake up before dawn, have breakfast, and depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. We’ll enter the crater as early as possible to maximize our chances of spotting game.
- Packed lunch and at around 2.00 pm we will leave the crater to move towards the main part of this tour, the Central Serengeti.
- The journey will last about 3 hours during which we could already admire herds of wildebeest and zebras in motion and with a bit of luck the first cheetahs and lions!
- They will then welcome us from our new camp immersed in the savannah! Here we will spend 4 unforgettable nights.
- Accommodation in tents, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3-4-5
- The program will remain unchanged for the next few days, with breakfast served before dawn, and departure set for 6.00/6.30.
- We will have a packed lunch with us and will use every minute of light for animal research and photography.
- During these days, we will focus mainly on predators, looking for lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, caracals, servals, as well as all the classic herbivores such as wildebeest, zebras, elands, impalas, Thompson’s gazelles, dik-diks and many other species.
- Birdlife will be equally fascinating, with the possibility of spotting serpentarius, ostriches, European rollers, lilac-breasted rollers, weavers, greater and lesser flamingos, and numerous raptors on every safari.
- Full day safaris will allow us to take advantage of every moment of the day, the vehicles at our disposal will allow us to maintain comfortable positions and rest during the day. Regular breaks will be scheduled during the day, during which we will get off the jeep in safe areas with our guides to stretch our legs and consume meals.
- Spending a lot of time in the field will certainly be essential to obtain incredible sightings.
Day 6
- We will wake up again before dawn, following the usual routine, for the last safari experience in the Ndutu area.
- We will spend the morning exploring the Central Serengeti area further, then gradually moving towards Arusha in the early afternoon, travelling for the last time along the slopes of the NgoroNgoro Crater and observing it from above.
- We will arrive in Arusha in the evening where we will have the pleasure of staying in a 3-star hotel just a few minutes from the airport, where we can rest and share together a last relaxing evening.
Day 7
- We have come to the end of this unforgettable experience. We will have a last breakfast together and close the bags. Transfers can leave from the hotel at any time, so you can wait at the hotel until your flight check-in time.
- If you fly in the evening, you can request a late check out to spend more time at the hotel.

I arrive:
- To participate in this trip you are required to be at Kilimanjaro Airport by 10.00 AM on May 29th.
- Qatar offers the best solutions with flights arriving early in the morning. However, you can also consider arriving a day earlier (May 28) and staying in Arusha, to be ready on May 29 for the first transfer.
Restart:
- For the restart, every flight on June 4th will be compatible with this itinerary. From the hotel you can reach the airport at any time with shuttles offered directly by the hotel.
